This is a hard truth I’ve had to embrace lately. This is a hard truth I’ve had to embrace lately.

I often say two things can be true at once—but living that out, especially in matters of the heart, has been more gut-wrenching than I expected.

Recently, I shared about why I stopped chasing people and started pursuing God in new and deeper ways. I realized I had been looking to people to fulfill parts of my life that only God could truly satisfy.

As I’ve leaned into that over the past few months, God has gently and kindly revealed even more that I need to release:

· the desire to be liked and sought after
· the tendency to overextend myself to make others feel seen and heard
· the habit of minimizing my own struggles because they don’t feel as worthy
· the quiet belief that compassion requires me to compromise who I am, what I believe, or how I feel

And where has that left me?

Depleted. Discouraged. At times, even resentful.

But I’m learning something that is reshaping the way I serve God, love others, and care for myself:

“We can be compassionate without compromising.” ~ Lysa TerKeurst

Who knew? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m learning that loving others well doesn’t mean losing myself in the process. God never asks me to abandon what He’s called me to do or silence the needs He’s placed within me.

Instead, He invites me to show up with grace and truth—honoring others while also stewarding the life and calling He’s entrusted to me.

This isn't about showing less compassion, but learning to offer it in a way that is honest and healing—rooted in God’s grace and truth, not in the fear of upsetting or losing them.

The resurrection changes everything. It is not ju The resurrection changes everything.

It is not just the most miraculous event in history.
It is not just the fulfillment of God’s promises.
It is not just the cornerstone of the Christian faith.
It is not just the reason we celebrate Easter.

It is all of that… and so much more.

Especially for those who believe in Jesus.

Yes, the resurrection is a historical event we remember and celebrate.
But it is also something we step into.

It becomes the lens through which we view all of life—
not just a moment in time, but a living reality.

The apostle Pau reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:13–15 (NLT):

“We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus, will also raise us with Jesus and present us to himself together with you. All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.”

The resurrection is not distant.
It is deeply personal.

Resurrection life is real, powerful, and available right now for every believer.

Because of that, here are four truths you can hold onto every single day:

L-I-V-E the Resurrection

L — Liberation
Jesus’ resurrection frees you from the penalty of sin
and gives you the grace you need to live this life—
no matter how heavy or hard it feels.

You are not stuck.
You are not condemned.
You are free.

I — Inspiration
The resurrection declares that Jesus is alive and reigning.

He is seated at the right hand of the Father.
This world is not spinning out of control—
it is held by the One who is still defeating sin
and working all things together for good.

You can trust Him, even here.

V — Value
The resurrection is a daily reminder of your worth.

God sent Jesus to suffer, die, and rise again to rescue you.
That was not accidental. That was intentional.

You are not valuable because of what you do—
you are valuable because of what He has done.

E — Eternal Life
The resurrection of Jesus guarantees your resurrection, too.

This is not the end of your story.
No matter how hard this life gets,
you already know how it ends.

And it is glorious.

So, go LIVE in the resurrection today and every day!
This isn’t the door I prayed for… but it’s the one This isn’t the door I prayed for…
but it’s the one God opened.

And if I’m honest, I’ve stood here—
hesitant, overwhelmed, almost paralyzed with fear and indecision.
Wondering, is this really what I asked for?

Because it doesn’t look like I expected.
It feels more like wilderness than promise.
Uninviting. Uncertain. Unfinished.

And isn’t that exactly where the Israelites found themselves?
Longing for what was familiar… even when it was bondage.

But I don’t want to run back to “comfortable captivity"
when God is calling me forward into freedom.

So I’m remembering Egypt.
I’m remembering His promises.
I’m remembering His provision.

And I’m choosing to take the first step—
shaky, but surrendered.

If you’re standing in a place like this today too…
drop a 🚪 below or the word WALKING and
I will pray that the Lord meets you as you
take that first step toward freedom.
