Because I believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired of God and entirely true and trustworthy, I have full confidence that they are the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith + life.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.“
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NLT)
INSIDE OUT BEAUTY will use the words, teachings, and stories of the Bible to speak life, bring hope, and guide us in all grace and truth as we seek to follow God and walk in his ways.
Discover Methods & Tools
Because I did not attend seminary and do not have a degree in theological studies, I am always looking for methods and tools to aid me in my study of the Bible. There are so many helpful resources available in books, commentaries, websites, and even apps!
Many of these resources are too good to keep to myself, so I want to share them with you. I also create and design methods and tools that have worked in Bible classes I am teaching or in my personal study. You will find all of them and more in these blog posts.
Search Scriptures by Topic
Did you ever find yourself looking for a particular Bible verse on a specific topic? Maybe you need a verse on comfort to put in a note to someone who recently lost a loved one. I love these lists and started searching for them too. You will find lists of Bible verses in these posts, from everything to standing firm in your faith to trusting God in difficult times.
